Sweet baby Ava

What a beautiful baby!  She was fun so photograph and when she finally got to sleep, much, much easier. She was just under 1 month old at the time and didn't want anything to do with sleep as long as I was there.  She couldn't be more precious.

Now we have Lola!

This sweet baby found us in February.  Doug found her close to nightfall wandering at the park.  No luck in finding someone who was looking for her, so a week later, we became her family!  She is soooo sweet. So cute, so busy, so fast, so active! She can tire us all out. Pepe and Tanner are adjusting to having a playful baby in the house and we are too.  Puppies are hard work, but worth it. Lola has the best little face.  Her lips are crooked, and she has an under bite.  Who wouldn't fall in love with this baby girl.

Remembering Callie

April 12th would have been Callie's 14th birthday.  This photo was on "her" day last year and sadly she passed away 6 days later.  I miss her so much.  Not a day has gone by that I don't think about having her in my life for 13 years.  She was so super cute, not always so friendly, and certainly not quiet. I am lucky I got to be her mom!

Little Wyatt

Wyatt is 4 months old!  He's such a cute little man.  I am hopefully going to shoot a lot more of him as he is growing up.  He was so easy to photograph, so happy and fun.  Although I would have loved to get some of him sleeping, he was having nothing to do with that.

Baby "T"

He is only 5 days old and so easy to work with.  Once he got to sleep, he was out!  What a sweet, beautiful baby he is.

South Padre

Knomme came to the beach.
Here's Christopher.  I really like his hair this length.  I hope he doesn't want me to cut it any time soon.
Doug and Christopher went on a ride to the end of the island.   It was So hot, by the time they got back they were both sweating so much, they had to take a shower before we could go to the beach.
He goes on all the best vacations!
Me doing what I do a the beach. Reading near the water, I ended up with the waves coming in to me.

Doug and Christopher saw this old bus while bike riding.  It's near the end of the island on the bay side.  This is the same area we took the sunset photos.  We came back the next day so I could photograph it in the daylight.  How lucky to find such a cool subject.
Here's the photo. So cool!

The little frog

This little guy has taken up house in our front yard.  We have seen him around most of the summer.  He is super cute as he never seems to grow.

South Padre Island

The beach is one of our favorite places to visit.  We spent several days on the island with Christopher last week.  The sunset really is the multiple shades of orange, we raced out at about 7:45 and didn't really get there in time, but got to the dunes just as it hit the horizon.  My son Christopher took these photos for us, he did a pretty good job considering he didn't really want to do it.  Thanks Christopher.

Tanner is so easy and usually cooperative when I want to photograph him.  Today he was a little tired of it after a while, but kept on sitting there and looking at me when I called him.

Then he had enough!

Pepe on the other hand, will not look at me when I have a camera in my hand.  He'll ignore me when I call him and just when he gives in and makes eye contact, he will look away just as fast.  Of course I was behind him taking photos, as soon as I moved around in front of him, he looked at me for about 1 min and literally got up and walked across the yard to sit down away from me!  Doesn't he know his mom wants to photograph him!
I don't think Doug could go one week, or even a day without eating some type of pepper or something extremely hot.  He grows these and eats them right off the branch.  They are usually way to hot for me, but I'll try one occasionally, and yes they are Hot!

I absolutely Love flowers of any kind.
